Bunmi Malik is a legal, governance, and compliance professional with over 15 years of experience providing legal and regulatory advice, managing compliance risk, and enhancing corporate governance standards across multiple jurisdictions in Africa.

She is an Ivy League-trained lawyer with an LLB/bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Ibadan, an LLM/Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a Certificate in Business and Law from the Wharton Business School.

Bunmi is also qualified to practice in Nigeria and New York and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK. Bunmi is currently the Director of Conduct, Financial Crime, and Compliance Governance for Nigeria and West Africa at Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria and a member of the Country Leadership team.
